What QAbots does not do
- It does not certify any person, procedure, product or shop.
- It does not replace a classification society surveyor, a government inspector or your customer's representative.
- A bot never signs, accepts or rejects an inspection point. A qualified person does.

The 12 core bots

WPSbot
Keeps a register of the shop's weld procedures (WPS and supporting PQR) and flags any job or joint that has no listed procedure on file.
CONTINUITYbot
Logs each welder's qualifications and the last date they welded with each process, and warns before a qualification could lapse for lack of use.
NDTCERTbot
Keeps the register of NDT personnel, their method and level, and the expiry dates of their qualification and eye exams, and warns before anything expires.
NDTRESULTbot
Tracks each NDT request from the call to the signed report, and chases radiographs and records that are due to the Government representative.
HEATbot
Logs every incoming heat or lot with its mill test report or certificate and tracks where that material is used, including Level I material marking.
CONSUMABLEbot
Logs the issue and return of welding filler metal and electrodes by lot, so every weld can be traced to the consumable lot used.
WELDINSPbot
Keeps the weld map and fit-up/visual inspection record for each joint, with the inspection-point code the Work Item invokes and a blank signature block for the inspector.
NCRbot
Opens, numbers and chases each nonconformance report until a named person dispositions and closes it, and logs deviation requests with their 1-day deadline.
CALbot
Keeps the calibration register for every gauge and instrument used for acceptance, and warns before anything goes out of calibration.
DOCbot
Keeps the register of controlled documents and their editions, and checks paper and electronic records against the record-keeping rules (ink, single-line corrections, no white-out).

Keeps the internal audit schedule, the checklist used, and each finding until a named owner closes it.
RETAINbot
Keeps the retention schedule for every record type, with the period and its source, and lists what may come up for a person to review for disposal.

Every rule a bot uses is listed with its source in the kit's verify.md. Rules we could not confirm from an official source are marked UNVERIFIED and must be checked against your own controlled copy.
The kit does not certify anyone and does not replace a surveyor. A bot never signs an inspection point.
